Plena means full. It's also the lens I reach for when I want to step back and let a moment be what it is: close enough to see everything, far enough that you forget I'm there. What's left is you, as you are, with nothing performed.
How a session works
Before. We talk first, about what you'd love, what you'd rather not, and where it happens: a hotel suite, your home, or a place that means something to you. I travel anywhere within 50 km of Perth, and further on request.
During. Nothing is rushed. I direct gently, check in often, and you can pause or change your mind at any point.
After. I edit your images and we talk through any adjustments before the finals are delivered, usually two to four weeks after you've chosen your favourites. RAW files aren't included.
Your images, your say.
Nothing is shared without your permission. If you agree to an image being posted and later change your mind, I'll take it down within 48 hours. Whatever your reason for being here, your privacy terms are respected.

Who's behind the camera
I'm Kirk. I've been photographing people since 2013, and Plena is the name I gave the work once I understood what it was for.
